The Good Guy by Dean Koontz

Wow we can now count how many books I have left on one hand. I have a feeling I'll be the first one in state too. I could be wrong but of course Mrs. Scott will ask around to see if anyone else has a student who has done it.

Timothy Carrier is an ordinary guy who enjoys a drink after work at a local pub. One night while he is just enjoying a nice night at the bar he is mistaken for someone else and is handed a envelope of money with a picture of a girl along with a note saying "Ten thousand now. You get the rest when she's gone." Save her life by leaving with the money? Hand the money over to the real guy? Save her life? What will Tim do?

I give it a 5/5. I loved this book and I'm not a fan of horror type things at all so it is a shock that I got into it. I could feel the struggles that everyone right down to the killer felt. Hats off to dean Koontz.

Ever Yours,
Mandy
